Sympathy Card

Unfortunately, my family and I lost a very dear friend recently to cancer.
He was gentle and kind and simply taken way to soon...

I can't say I have ever made a sympathy card.
Probably because of the obvious--they aren't very fun.

By chance, months ago, I purchased the Unity set:  With Sympathy.

I really LOVE the quote:
"If the future seems overwhelming, remember it comes one moment at a time."
I think simple is best in these situations.

The pops of colorful butterflies are my favorite part.
They are an Echo Park goodie from the set:  I Adore You.
I think they look awesome on the black and white.

I hope this card helps, even if just for a second...

This is soooo pretty.
I got this stamps set too, it's necessary.

What are the odds we both chose Jen. I honestly just randomly found whoever. She must be a Unity fan, like us.

Wow erin that is a beautiful card. I hear you on making sypmathy cards, they're not very fun, though I always wish I had some on hand.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend...cancer sucks. Your card is really gorgeous! That Unity set is one of my faves, and I love how you framed the tree. Super pretty! I'm sure his family will appreciate it.
